Common questions
Do I need a credit card to try a teacher?+
No. Free trial lessons require no card. You only add a payment method when you decide to book a paid lesson.
How are payments protected?+
When you pay for a lesson, the money is held in escrow and only released to the teacher after the lesson takes place. Every movement is recorded in a double-entry ledger.
Which currencies can I pay in?+
Prices are shown in your own currency across USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD and PKR. The exchange rate is frozen at checkout so there are no surprises.
What happens if I need to cancel or a teacher does not show up?+
You can cancel within the published cancellation window for a refund, and if a teacher fails to attend you are automatically refunded in full.
How and when do teachers get paid?+
A teacher’s earnings clear a short time after each completed lesson and accumulate in their balance. They can request a payout to their verified payout method at any time.
